If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!

Haha that was kinda the over all theme for today as Micah was having major mood swings.... so i was always trying to figure out if he was happy or mad. A good sign that he is upset he starts growling serious growling not the fake little i'm pretending to be a bear growl but almost a scary one. a clue that he's in a good mood ummm he isn't yelling at the dogs but just playing calmly with them, sometimes he'll randomly come give me a hug and if i ask him what he's doing in my room he'll say i want to hang out with you.

Anyways to start off the day i got up at 7:15 (this is sleeping in by the way) to find Micah laying by the cold turned off fireplace so i asked him what he was doing and he very seriously informed me that he was warming up because it is cold. I then made him a yummy breakfast...scrambled eggs, and a smoothie and we played for a little while while waiting for his mom to get home.

Once Becky arrived Micah and i headed to the gym for the toddlers swim class (that's the 3rd day in a row that i've gone the the gym) and then i was going to drop him off in the daycare center and do some working out myself. we walked into the gym to see a nice little sign on the desk saying water tots class canceled... great so now i have to inform a little 4 year old who's favorite word is "why" that the water is broken and he can't go to class today. There was a table of little old ladies listening and they were talking about how the poor little guy is going to be sooo disappointed so i informed them that it would be ok i'd take him shopping. Hehehe i'm going to teach that kid to love shopping!

We had a nice long car ride with becky today as well 3 hours total i think that's when the growling started from the backseat...anyway i knew then that i was in for a "fun" night. He was hungry but only wanted what we didn't have to eat (i believe that he demanded i make him cookies....:D ) and so i decided that i was popping a movie in and he could watch that for while before bed because i didn't want him running around anytime he got up i told him if he was done with the movie he was going to bed so he stayed sitting and watched it...i didn't want to send him to be too early because if i did he would be up before the sun rose we're talking 5 or earlier and i don't like that so i dealt with the grumps.

After the movie i said bed time which caused a screaming yelling fit...something about you're not Allyson...you're a monster! and i don't like you, you're not my friend...and the classic i'm going to tell my mommy you're mean. so i decided to sing if you're happy and you know it clap your hands well somehow this got him smiling and he demanded that i keep singing so i did and the song went through all the motions of getting ready for bed (if you're happy and you know it put on your pajamas) and getting into bed(if you're happy and you know it go to sleep) and so amazingly enough the day ended with a smile and a cute adorable little micah fast asleep!

Ok bored of hearing about Micah now i'm sure but my life kinda revolves around him....his mom is never really home so i take care of him and clean all day! Anyways today was also an amazing fun wind storm i love those! MOST IMPORTANTLY though tomorrow i get to go home!!!! ok well only for a day then it's off to cali for a few days then back here and then back to Oregon for a week! Paid vacation! I really should be packing....
