The other day it was pooring rain and the roads were pretty wet and Heather declared "it's like a Tsunami without the Ocean here!"

My favorite quote was from today. We were visiting an older man and he was talking about how he had so much stuff that he needed to get rid of and Heather said "it's a good thing the Bible doesn't say we have to go stuffless, just homeless!" Maybe i could have kept some of my dolls after all! :)

Note to self the names Zaccheaeus and Zacharias are not pronounced the same....no matter how nervous you are they are still different.

Girls weekend

Before Heather and i got sick we had a girls weekend. Almost all the Washington/Idaho sisters were able to come and we had a great time. It was especially nice to meet and get to know some of the ones i will be at preps with a little bit better. We went hiking, and had a piñata, and then had a sing and it was just a wonderful weekend. Here are some pictures from that.

I love how the other three are still all nice and tidy and somehow i got mud on both my legs...but we all made it to the top!

This was my favorite part, i remember when growing up whenever there was a piñata and it broke it was pretty much battle grounds to see who could get the most and the best candy. This was a very different scene everyone picked a few and then backed off and when all was said and done over half the candy was still left. I did happen to notice that all the dove dark chocolates were picked out! :)

Card Making!

I have a new hobbie that is so much fun! I've discovered just how much i love to make cards, it's almost as fun as scrapbooking. And even with the tiny amounts of supplies i have i can still make the room i'm using look like a paper supply store exploded! :)

Still alive!

Just letting you know we are still alive, just been super sick and super busy! :) We had to take a week off due to an unknown illness that pretended it was a cold and then just knocked us both flat on our backs. Thankfully i'm young so i recovered pretty fast and Heather is also doing better now.

Spring conventions for me will be Chelan, Post Falls, Dagmar, and Devon! This summer i get to go to Olympia for the first time ever. I expect to see all of you at at least one of those!

Soon i'll post some pictures and details from when the family was here but i need to get back to studying for gospel meeting tonight.
