Snow in Seattle!

Well the big "blizzard" as the weather forecasters were calling it has hit Seattle! As you can tell there was much need to be panicked and buy all the food in the grocery store, considering that we were stuck in the house all day and will be for at least the next month! Here are some pictures of the day (all taken from my living room of course since we were trapped inside with now power...:D )

On on more serious note i have discovered that there is no place i like more than Seattle on a snowy day! It turns into a fun, friendly, slow paced, beautiful place. It was amazing, everyone was just walking the streets laughing and saying hello to all passing by. They were sharing sleds, helping each other up and down the hills. There wasn't any of the normal road rage selfish rushing around that normally happens. It turn Seattle into a friendly community and i loved it!

Yesterday i got to hang out with some dear friends of mine! Heather was up visiting from Cali and so Debbie, Megan, Ellia, Kate, Heather and i all went out for ice cream and then for a walk at a park. Also this week Debbie and i went and met the newest baby born in our field, little Emery Dawn! :)

New Years

Well Happy New Year to all!

I've been thinking about my New Years Resolutions for this year and besides the normal eat healthy and get in shape goal i've set two others that i plan to achieve.

The first was prompted by what was said by someone in my Sunday morning meeting. " If you haven't drawn farther away from the world and closer to God in this past year, then it's been a wasted year" So this year my goal is to no set things aside that are preventing me from getting closer to God but to completely get rid of them so i can't ever pick them up again and to draw closer to God.

The second is to remember birthdays...and to acknowledge them. I love my birthday and i love getting a birthday phone call or text and so this year i want to remember how important birthdays are to people and to wish them a wonderful day!
